UMC Career Resources
Career & Counseling Services Resources

There is no substitute for face-to-face meetings with the knowledgeable professionals in the Career and Counseling Services office for getting information needed in the process of selecting a career and finding employment. They offer personal service and workshops throughout the year. They have created a page with Internship and Career Resources by Major, International Jobs and Careers information and operate the UMC Resume Posting and Job Search site (registration required).
Library Resources

The UMC Library complements these services with its collection of materials, in print, video, and online formats. We have developed pages with information about UMC Library resources for Career Selection & Job Hunting, Resumes & Cover Letters & Interviewing. These links provide a good starting point for locating resources on these topics.
Students can access most materials online using their laptops. The UMC Library provides over 300 online titles on the subjects of resumes, interviewing, and career selection. To search for eBooks and other internet resources use
Crookston Catalog Plus Internet Resources.
For those who prefer to have a book there is a good selection of print materials listed on these pages as well. To find additional print books in the UMC Library use the Crookston Catalog - On Campus Materials. Clicking on the following terms will do a search in the UMC catlog for the resources available both print and electronic: Resumes -
Interviewing -
Vocational Guidance.
