Working from home

In the past the students in this class have accessed may of the resources from their home or workplace. All of the resources of the UMC Library are available to students working from home.  To do this you need to access using VPN, the UMC virtual private network.  VPN is installed on the laptops. High speed internet access is very helpful as well because full text downloads can take a lot of time.

Passwords

Many of the databases (not LEXIS) can be accessed remotely without VPN using passwords. The list is on the Remote Access page. If you need to do this please contact me by email Email: James Carlson It is worth the effort to get VPN working.
