Where to begin

The University of Minnesota, Crookston Library has materials and services available to support the research and study for HSM 3020 Quality Improvement and Risk Management . The databases listed below are three large general databases with useful collection of journal articles in the healthcare management area. These three are databases which can be accessed by password even if you have not installed VPN.

Ebsco MegaFile - EBSCO MegaFILE is a multi-disciplinary database providing full text for nearly 12,000 total publications and indexing & abstracting for more than 16,000 publications.

Academic Search Premier - contains indexing for nearly 8,050 publications, with full text for more than 4,600 of those titles.

InfoTrac OneFile - A one-stop source for news and periodical articles on a wide range of topics: business, computers, current events, economics, education, environmental issues, health care, hobbies, humanities, law, literature and art, politics, science, social science, sports, technology, and many general interest topics.

Once you have looked around and found a topic and determined that there is enough information available to write a good paper you will need to search the available relevant resources.  These would include books, academic articles and law reviews, cases, laws and regulations.  The links to the left will assist you in doing this.
